I am currently the coordinator of the Teacher Education Transfer Program at Morrisville State College (a part of the SUNY system). In addition to my Education work, I also teach English classes - usually writing classes. My doctoral training is in Literacy/TESL, with an emphasis on language socialization, academic writing, and functional linguistics. I am undertaking a new project this year to integrate GoogleDocs into my writing and Education classes, with the idea that I would like to provide students with the opportunity to develop technological and content area knowledge (and, in the case of my education students, pedagogical knowledge of both the content and the technology...whew!). In my free time, I run doggedly, do yoga determinedly, read voraciously, and spoil my animals (cat, dogs, horse) shamelessly.
